As long-time Charlotteans, Erin and Brock could have crossed paths at any number of the local restaurants and events they both frequented. Somehow, though, the two never encountered each other until they connected online on March 29, 2023. After discovering that they shared passions for food, wine, and family (and lived only 15 minutes apart), they met for a charming first date at Link & Pin steakhouse.

After their first date, Erin and Brock quickly decided to meet again for a second. However, they soon realized that they had another thing in common—their busy work schedules! It took them nearly a month to find time for a third date, but they talked and texted every day they were apart.

Once that third date happened, Erin and Brock’s love story truly began to unfold. After only 8 weeks, Brock invited Erin to join him on a work trip to Toronto. Erin immediately accepted the offer, but had a work conference of her own to attend in Miami the same week! The pair ended up spending six days exploring both cities and found that they fit together perfectly.

Throughout 2023, Brock and Erin continued talking, traveling, and falling deeper in love. Erin met Brock’s sisters in Toronto, Brock met Erin’s parents in Highlands, and by the end of the year they were on their way across the pond (with Jaren, Gareth, and Tali in tow) to visit Alexis in the UK!

After a year of romance, Brock took Erin to Limani, the restaurant where they spent four and a half hours getting to know each other on their second date. This time, he got down on one knee and proposed!

Erin and Brock are thrilled to celebrate their love and the union of their families with everyone on August 3, 2025.
